SHORT COURSES – LAST INFORMATION

Dear participants of the Short Courses at EuCAP 2012 in Prague,

The Short Courses will be held at Prague Congress Centre.

The Registration Desk will be opened from 9:00 CEST for the Short Courses started at 9:30 CEST, i.e. for ISC3, SC11, and SC12.

The Registration Desk will be opened from 13:30 CEST for the Short Courses started at 14:00 CEST, i.e. for ISC2, SC4, SC10, and SC13.

SHORT COURSES – 3^rd INFORMATION

Dear participants of the Short Courses at EuCAP 2012 in Prague,

 It is a great pleasure for me to inform you that the following seven Short Courses will be opened at EuCAP 2012 in Prague:

ISC 2   Propagation issues for multigigabit communication at 60 GHz and beyond

ISC 3   Antennas for software defined radio

SC 4    Transformation electromagnetics and its applications to antenna engineering

SC 10    Advanced impedance matching and impedance analysis for antenna applications

SC 11    Global optimization techniques based on evolutionary strategies

SC 12    Propagation modeling for mobile wireless communications: Overview and examination of the dynamic vehicle-to-vehicle

SC 13    Mastering the small antennas challenge

The registration for these 7 Short Courses will be opened up to March 25, 2012. You can also register at the registration desk on March 25, 2012 just before the chosen Short Course starts.

Students and PhD students can ask for the 20% discount of the normal fee for the following Invited Short Courses:

ISC 2 - Propagation issues for multigigabit communication at 60 GHz and beyond

ISC 3 - Antennas for software defined radio

The procedure is described in the SHORT COURSES – 2nd INFORMATION.

Participants who have registered for Short Courses that are not opened can participate in any opened Short Course according to their choice or they will obtain the registration fee back at the registration desk during EuCAP 2012 in Prague.

SHORT COURSES – 2^nd INFORMATION

Students and PhD students can ask for the 20% discount of the normal fee for the Invited Short Courses (ISC1 - From soft  and hard surfaces to new gap waveguides for mm and submm waves; ISC2 - Propagation issues for multigigabit communication at 60 GHz and beyond; ISC3 - Antennas for software defined radio). You have to ask for the individual discount code before the registration!

Use please the following procedure:

1)      Send e-mail to shortcourses@eucap2012.org with your request for a discount for the chosen Invited Short Course (ISC1, ISC2 or ISC3).

2)      In the e-mail, confirm please that you are student or PhD student.

3)      You will receive your individual discount code by e-mail.

4)      Then you can register for the chosen ISC with a discount.

I would like to ask you to register as soon as possible because the decision about the Short Course cancellation, based on the number of the registered participants, will be done soon - on February 27, 2012.

SHORT COURSES – 1^st information

Dear participants of the Short Courses at EuCAP 2012 in Prague,

It is a great pleasure for me to inform you that in addition to the classical Short Courses (SCs) we have also arranged the Invited Short Courses (ISCs) given by the well-known and respectable scientists and focused on up to date hot topics from antennas and propagation areas.

The extremely high-quality courses at EuCAP 2012 will be organized on Sunday, March 25, 2012 (just before EuCAP 2012) with duration of 3 hours or 6 hours, from 9:30 to 17:00 with 1.5 hour break.

I would like to inform you that the particular course can be cancelled if there are less than 8 people early - registered and the Short Course Registration Fee will be returned at the Registration Desk. Therefore, I would like to encourage you to register for the Short Courses as soon as possible because the decision about the Short Course cancellation, based on the number of the registered participants, will be done soon - on February 27, 2012. Registration with complete information (price, short courses venue, lecture rooms etc.) will be open during December

I am convinced that you will be satisfied with the chosen course.
